google chrome easter eggs
Did you know there are secrets on your google chrome browser. They are called about: special pages, but Google calls them easter eggs, just like windows and office easter eggs. They are part of CHROME'S configurable files similar to Firefox's. Open Google Chrome and type the following in the browser address bar. 1. about:plugins This can be used to display various plugins that are installed in Googlr Chrome browser, like flash players, Java applications and other extensions. 2. about:crash Google Chrome displays a sad smiley [ picture ] when you enter the above text in the address bar and press enter. 3. about:histograms List of histograms for Google Chrome's internal metrics.. 4. about:stats Some vital statistics and information. 5. about:version Well, what else. This shows you the version of chrome browser. There is also a nice logo on the right. 6. about:internets Not much technical stuff here. It just shows windows pipe screensaver.
7. about:memory Compares the memory used by chrome and other browsers if open. 8. about:hang The page will tells you which tab is causing the browser to hang. 9. about:cache The cached pages. Find the list of visited pages cached in the computer.
