Creating a customized button.
For this we will first have to create a new macro. This macro will function as the format modifier. Here are the steps.

1. Click on tools menu >> macros >. record a new macro >> name the new macro ( in my case I have named it as Myformat. This will start the recording process for the macro.
2. Next, just type a single word >> select it >> and change the font size to 12, colour to red and type to verdana.
3. Stop the macro recording.
Now click on the view menu >> Toolbars >> Customize and in the Commands tab click on macros. This will show the list of macros available. Our new macro Myformat will be visible here.
Click and drag this macro on the new toolbar and release the mouse button. Right click on the button and select default style. Right click once again and choose change image. Thats it. You are finished with creating both toolbar and button. But how do we use it.Very simple. Just type few words and select it. Click on the newly created button and you will see the format changes in the selection.

Create as many macro based button which will help you in your day day office work.
